Terms of Service

These terms set out the rules for using the Care Providers Network platform, and the responsibilities that stay with you and your organisation.

Last updated: 20 August 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account, signing in or otherwise using Care Providers Network (the “platform”), you agree to these terms. If you are using the platform on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for that organisation, and “you” includes that organisation. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility and your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement.
  • Care provider accounts are for organisations operating in UK health and social care; we may ask for verification evidence before enabling certain features.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of your registration details and for keeping your credentials secure.
  • You must not share your login, and you are responsible for activity carried out under your account.
  • Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
  • Platform administrator and partner accounts are provisioned by us and cannot be self-registered.

3. Roles on the platform

Care providers advertise opportunities, review candidates, manage compliance records and may offer or receive genuine spare capacity or defined care services. Suppliers offer add-on products and services. Candidates, meaning healthcare professionals, maintain a profile, hold documents and apply for opportunities. Care Providers Network provides the platform. We are not an employer, employment business, staffing agency or party to any contract, engagement or service arrangement you agree with another user.

4. Accurate information and lawful use

You must provide information that is accurate, current and not misleading, keep it up to date, and only upload documents you are entitled to share. You must use the platform lawfully, including under employment, immigration, right-to-work, safeguarding, equalities, data protection and sector regulatory requirements that apply to you.

5. Prohibited conduct

  • Posting false, discriminatory, misleading or unlawful listings, profiles or messages.
  • Impersonating another person or organisation, or misrepresenting your authority.
  • Uploading malicious code, or scraping, bulk-extracting or reselling platform data.
  • Attempting to bypass access controls, membership entitlements, compliance gates or audit logging.
  • Using candidate information for any purpose other than the recruitment or service activity it was shared for.
  • Charging work-seekers unlawful fees, or any conduct that would place another user in breach of the law.
  • Interfering with platform security, availability or other users' use of the service.

6. Listings, applications and matching

Providers are responsible for the content and legality of their listings, for their selection decisions, and for any checks required before engaging a worker. Matching scores, search results and shortlists are indicative aids only. We do not guarantee that a listing will attract applicants, that a candidate is suitable or available, or that any application, interview or engagement will result. Candidates are responsible for the accuracy of their CV, documents and application answers.

7. Memberships, add-on services and invoicing

Membership and add-on services are described on the platform at the point of purchase. Fees, billing frequency and any usage allowances are shown before you confirm. Payments are processed by our payment provider, and by purchasing you also accept that provider's terms. Unless stated otherwise, fees are payable in advance and are non-refundable for periods already started, except where the law gives you a right to a refund. Where an add-on service depends on another party, such as a supplier or a candidate providing consent, we do not guarantee the outcome, turnaround or quality of that service. We may change pricing for future billing periods with reasonable notice.

8. Compliance documents and verification

Document upload, extraction and review tools are designed to support a human decision. Documents are not automatically approved, and a confidence score or extracted field is not a verification outcome. Provider verification badges and organisation identifiers reflect the evidence available to us at a point in time and are not a guarantee of regulatory standing. You remain responsible for your own due diligence, safeguarding, right-to-work, DBS, IR35, sponsorship, professional registration and regulatory obligations, and for retaining your own records.

9. Intellectual property and your content

The platform, including its software, design, text and branding, belongs to Care Providers Network or its licensors. You may use it only as permitted by these terms. You keep ownership of the content you submit, and you grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, store, process and display that content as needed to operate the platform and provide the features you use. You confirm you have the rights and, where required, the consents needed for the content you submit. We may remove content that breaches these terms or the law.

10. Privacy and data protection

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Where you use the platform to process personal data about your own candidates, staff or service users, you act as controller for that data and must have your own lawful basis, notices and retention practices in place. Each party must comply with UK data protection law.

11. Third-party services and links

The platform integrates with, and links to, third-party services such as payment, identity, company information and communication providers. We are not responsible for third-party services, their content or their availability, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

12. Availability and changes to the platform

We work to keep the platform available and reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. Features may be added, changed, suspended or withdrawn, and maintenance may cause downtime. Where a change is significant and within our control, we will give reasonable notice.

13. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached, where required by law, where continued access creates a security, safeguarding or legal risk, or where fees remain unpaid. On termination, your right to use the platform ends, though we may retain records where we have a legal or legitimate reason to do so, and any accrued rights and obligations survive.

14. Disclaimers

The platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties. We do not guarantee employment, engagements, candidate suitability, the accuracy of information supplied by other users, regulatory compliance, the quality of third-party products or services, or any particular commercial outcome. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

15. Limitation of liability

Subject to the paragraph above, and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, anticipated savings, or for indirect or consequential loss, however arising. Our total liability to you in connection with the platform in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in that period and £100. If you are a consumer, you keep your statutory rights and these limits apply only so far as the law allows.

16. Indemnity

If you use the platform as a business, you agree to indemnify us against reasonable losses, costs and claims brought by a third party arising from your unlawful use of the platform, your breach of these terms, or content you submit that infringes another person's rights.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform and the law develop. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Material changes will be notified in the platform or by email, and continued use after the change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

18. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may bring proceedings in your local courts.

19. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent through our contact form or to privacy@careprovidersnetwork.co.uk for privacy-related matters.
